Bachelor of Medical Lab Technology course enhances student’s knowledge and skills in several major categorical areas of Medical Laboratory Technology. The degree in Medical Laboratory Technology provides advanced skills to practicing laboratory professionals in health administrations, leadership, quality assurance and health informatics.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

Candidates for admission to the course shall have passed the Higher Secondary examination or courses recognized equivalent there to by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English put together with usual relaxation allowed by Government of West Bengal for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (A & B) and PwD candidates.

Students should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December of the admission year.

MODE OF SELECTION TO THE COURSE

The selection of students for the course shall be made strictly based on merit as decided by the competent authority approved by the Government of West Bengal and West Bengal University of Health Sciences and as per guidelines of the respective council from time to time.

EXAMINATIONS

As per WBUHS Academic Regulations and course syllabus prescribed from time to time.
