B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology
Bachelor of Science in Critical Care Technology is an undergraduate program focused on training individuals for roles in critical care settings. Students learn about patient monitoring technology, respiratory and cardiovascular care, emergency medicine, infection control, and ethical considerations. The curriculum includes theoretical coursework, practical training, and clinical experience. Graduates are prepared to work as critical care technologists, contributing to patient care in intensive care units and emergency departments.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
Candidates for admission to the course shall have passed the Higher Secondary examination or courses recognized equivalent there to by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English put together with usual relaxation allowed by Government of West Bengal for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (A & B) and PwD candidates.
Students should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December of the admission year.
MODE OF SELECTION TO THE COURSE
The selection of students for the course shall be made strictly based on merit as decided by the competent authority approved by the Government of West Bengal and West Bengal University of Health Sciences and as per guidelines of the respective council from time to time.
FEES
As stipulated by the Government of West Bengal and/or WBUHS from time to time.
EXAMINATIONS
As per WBUHS Academic Regulations and course syllabus prescribed from time to time.
